Materials catalog
ECS does not make the materials; it distributes them and makes the comparison honest. This catalog is the materials view of the network: biochar, bioplastic resin, fermented cleaning actives, and sustainable mineral fillers. Each material page holds one controlled specification, the buyer-guide layer a brochure never publishes, and the verification step that confirms the grade delivered is the grade ordered. Pick the material; we write the RFQ.
- Biochar by grade and end use
- Bioplastic resin by claim
- Fermented cleaning actives
- Sustainable mineral fillers
Vendor-neutral within the spec: ECS presents each material fairly and holds every producer to the same documentation.
How the catalog works
The producer makes the material. ECS makes it comparable.
Each catalog page is a sourcing profile for one material, not a comparison teardown. The producer brings the material and the production process; ECS brings the specification literacy, the structure, and the controlled RFQ that turn a generic inquiry into a fit-for-purpose order. A buyer who comes to ECS gets the full range and the buyer-guide layer in one place, plus the verification step that confirms the grade delivered is the grade ordered.
Sourcing through ECS does not lock you to one producer. We write a single specification and can run it across qualified producers on identical terms, so you compare bids, not brochures. The material pages below explain what each one is best at; the partners hub explains the producers behind them, and the technologies hub explains the science.
The catalog
Four materials, one sourcing standard.
Each material leads in a different application. Open a page for the range, the grades, and the spec ECS writes into every RFQ.
Biochar
Biochar
Industrial biochar from patented kiln-based slow pyrolysis. Chip, small, medium and micronized powder grades for soil, reclamation, filtration and recycled-plastic filler, organized by grade and end use.
Bioplastic resin
Bioplastic resin
Bulk resin and pellet for converters and brand owners. Biodegradable, compostable, PCR and PHA are not interchangeable; we specify by application, processing method and verified end-of-life claim.
Fermented cleaning actives
Fermented cleaning actives
Bulk fermented, non-toxic cleaning concentrate for programs. Specified by efficacy percentage, safety multiple and a preservative-free pass, with the lab numbers that back every claim.
Mineral filler
Mineral fillers
Bulk sustainable mineral filler, including biogenic calcium carbonate. Specified by grade, particle size and embodied-carbon profile, because not all “sustainable” calcium is made the same way.
What sourcing on spec means
The standard every material meets.
A material enters the ECS catalog on the documentation, not the marketing. The four commitments below hold across the whole catalog.
One controlled spec
Every RFQ carries a single specification, so grade, particle size, certification and contaminant ceilings stay constant from quote to delivery.
Per-batch lab report
A per-batch lab report is required before you commit, never an unsupported spec sheet or a stock brochure number.
Claims verified
Certification and carbon claims are checked against the issuing registry. A logo is not a credential until the record confirms it.
Landed-price clarity
Bids are normalized to one landed unit, so quotes from producers with different packaging and freight finally compare.
ECS presents each material fairly and holds every producer to the same documentation. We do not steer you around the evidence, and we will flag any producer that lists “certifications” without naming them before you sign.

Know the producer, or just the material?
Name a material and a grade, or just the application. We write one controlled specification, source it from the right producer, and return a documented, landed-price quote you can put in front of procurement.
