This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site or submit a request for quote (RFQ), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the lead and RFQ forms hosted on it.
Who we are

Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
- Information you give us. When you submit an RFQ, request a quote, download a resource, or contact us, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, work email, phone number, company, role, country, the material or solution you are interested in, your target volume, and the specification or message you send. These forms are intended for business contact and procurement details, not sensitive personal data.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information through server logs and cookies, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the referring page. This is used to keep the Site secure, measure performance, and understand which resources are useful.

Email and marketing
ECS sends transactional email (quote responses, requested documents) and, where you opt in, occasional updates about materials, guides, and sourcing. We manage email in-house and do not sell your contact details to third-party marketers. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time without affecting an active quote.
How we share your information
We are vendor-neutral, but sourcing your materials necessarily involves third parties. We may share the information needed to fulfill your request with:
- Producers and suppliers in our network, only the specification details needed to return a bid for your inquiry. We aim to share the spec, not unnecessary personal detail.
- Service providers who help us run the Site, email, and CRM under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep RFQ and contact information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting relationship, and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to records we are required to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
